Yes, let me say it again…You Matter and You are Enough!
Belly button gazing is a plague that many of us suffer from. It’s the first thing that get’s cut yet seems to be the last thing we really let go of. Let me explain a little. While gazing at our Belly buttons we are caught up in self. We are also the most critical when it comes to self. STOP IT!
Lift your eyes and begin to look around. Your voice needs to be heard and the difficult thing about that is we don’t know who needs to hear it and the thought of speaking out scares the crap out of us. At least it does me. I must admit i’m getting better at listening to the prompting of that still small voice. This morning during my quite time I got a prompting. A prompting to begin scrolling through my Facebook friends list and reaching out to people that I hadn’t talked to in a long time or who I thought would simply benefit from a simple statement that “The Matter and are enough”
I began to simply act on it and as I scanned through my list and reached out to send a simple smiley face or let them know that they mattered, the responses started pouring in thanking me for taking the time to reach out. That it was a message that came to them at a perfect time. After receiving a number of thank you messages I felt another prompting to cut a live video on my profile and have it reach people who might not only read the message but hear it also. We all take in information in different ways.
Here is a link to the video that I cut just this morning sharing with people who follow my profile. Listen and Follow that Prompting
So the moral of the story is, don’t try and figure out where the prompting is coming from, simply act on it and reach out to people so you can share your thoughts with them. We never know who is hanging on by a thread and desperately in need of the encouragement. I know when I get random messages from people and it’s meant to encourage me, it puts a spring in my step and a smile on my face. People are affected in great ways when they see you smiling.
If you were encouraged by this or if it touched your heart, share it with someone you love or more importantly share it with someone you are prompted to share it with.
Have a great day folks…unless you have other plans.
